How to install the deck lights?

◆ Method One:Embedded installation, suitable for anti-corrosive wood, marble, stone, gypsum board, etc.

◆ Method Two:Optional pre-embedded installation, suitable for concrete, mud, lawn, etc.

Note:

The working voltage is AC12V or DC12-24V, Please note that they are dimmable, but you need to connect the DC12V LED dimming driver, and then connect the 100V~260V dimming switch.
Genuine LED chip, it may be brighter than most 3 watt LED lights, if you are front mounted on a step or where the eye looks directly, it is recommended to choose the appropriate distance to install, or add a dimmable driver and switch to avoid glare.
If you buy 1w and 3w at the same time, you may mistakenly think they are similar in brightness, that is because 3w has a larger beam angle, compared to 1w light is more spread out.
If you want to install underwater, we recommend 3000K for ponds and 5000K for pools, with a silicone seal applied to the bottom of the panel before installation to avoid water ingress at the cable connections.

Q1:How to choose the right transformer?
Answer:Our rated voltage is DC：12V-24V that means we could use a 12V AC output transformer, or a DC12V /DC24V output transformer. Both of them is workable with our deck lights.

Q2:Can these deck lights be used outside?
Answer:Yes, the led deck lights are IP67 waterproof rated, can be used for outside stairs, yard, garden, steps,patio, and another place for landscape lighting as well.

Q3:Will these be OK if ran under ground ?
Answer:Yes, these deck lights designed for under ground. It is OK.

Q4:Is this product suitable for outdoor steps?
Answer:Yes they are maintenance-free and worry-free exterior lighting & IP67 waterproof, heatproof and weather-resistant technology.

Q5:Can I change the light bulb?
Answer: No, The "bulb" is made of LEDs integrated into a printed circuit board. This portion is not replaceable. If it burns out, you need to replace the unit.

Q6:Are these outdoor step lights dimmable?
Answer: Yes, these led inground lights are dimmable. They suitable most of triac dimmer,not all. you could test sample first.

Q7:If the wire cable is used for providing power, after snipping off a connector, the wire colors are brown and blue. what 12vdc polarity is applied?
Answer:Brown wire is positive (12V+) , and blue wire is negative (12V-). If the positive and negative poles are reversed, the light just won't turn on. Just swap the positive and negative poles. Will not burn out the light. For our in-ground lights red wire is positive, black wire is negative.

Q8:Will this work 24V AC?
Answer:No,it is working on voltage 12V-24V DC, 24V AC will burn the light.

Q9:How hot will these get?
Answer:1W:The temperature is not over 60℃ after long time working.
3W:The temperature is 60℃ to 65℃ after long time working.

Q10:Can these be put in a waterfall?
Answer:This can be put around the water,not in deep water or strong water pressure. The waterproof grade is IP67. I suggest you use pool light which has IP68 grade. You can find our IP68 underground lights.

Q11:Can I wire a dimmer to these?
Answer:You should add a DC dimmer between the lights and DC driver,then they will be dimmable with a dimmer.

Q12:Do you have housings that fit these lights?
Answer: Housing for this light is not necessary .This size for this light is very mini. You just drill a hole and put it inside. If you want it installed in concrete, you need order some housing.

Q13:Can these be used in a shower niche?
Answer:Just make sure the working voltage is 12V DC and the hole size is proper.This light is waterproof.

Q14:If I wanted to replace white led chip with blue, what is exact chip size and orientation?
Answer:It is not recommended to replace the led chip by yourself. The protection grade for this light is IP67,which means it's a good sealed light.It's impossible to replace the led chip. If you need many white color lights, we can arrange to produce this item.

Q15:Will these work with led transformer and photocell? they are also 2 pin waterproof connections for deck lighting?
Answer:Be sure the led transformer is 12Volt DC (not AC). The 2 pin waterproof connections may be not compatible with our light. The diameter and notched shape are not the same.But you can cut the connections and use wire to wire connection way.

Q16:Do your product have any certification?
Answer:Yes, most of our products passed CE , ROHS.

Q17:Be there any warranty?
Answer:Yes , We offer 3 years warranty for all of our products.

Q18:How long does it ship to my country and which delivery method are available?
Answer: Most of our products have enough stock in our US warehouse.It usually takes 3-5 business days ship to your city. We use UPS or FedEx to delivery our products. If not in stock in the US, we will ship from China in about a week.

Q19:How can I tack my package?
